GENERAL
All Products made by Harucake are subject to the following Terms and Conditions:
These terms and conditions serve as the contract between the customer and Harucake. By ordering from Harucake, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions and accept that these Conditions may be modified or amended and posted on this website from time to time.

GUARANTEE
We promise to do everything in our power to deliver you a cake that exceeds your expectations. We will work with you on every level to make sure you are completely satisfied and happy with your cake. Thanks for trusting us to make a sweet memory for your unforgettable occasion!
ORDERING
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may limit or cancel quantities purchased. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or phone number provided at the time the order was made.
DESIGNS
Colors : Although we make every attempt to provide an exact color match, we cannot guarantee. Pictures of color swatches, cakes or dresses are not always true to color.
Decorations and Toppers : If you are to provide any decoration, flower, material or topper for your cake please have it in 2 days before you pick up date (the sooner the better). This way if more is needed or any adjustments have to be made to the designs there is time to notify and make the changes. If the topper is unstable, we will not attach it to the cake, it must be added on site. Please be sure to let us know that you are bringing in a topper for your order.
THIRD PARTY PICKUP
If a third party will be collecting the cake on the Customer’s behalf or taking responsibility for the cake when delivered, this party will be given all appropriate information that would have been given to the customer. Same conditions apply as if the customer were to collect the cake themselves. Harucake is not liable for damage due to third party negligence or improper handling once the product has been picked up or delivered.
CANCELLATIONS & MODIFICATIONS
Cancellations can be made 2 weeks before pick up day. Any cancellations must be made in writing and will result in a Store Credit ONLY. We can not accept modifications after order is placed.
ALL ORDERS ARE FINAL. We do not accept returns, exchanges or refunds on any of the cakes that are sold.
Please review your order before payment.
DAMAGES
Harucake assumes no liability or responsibility after the order leaves our kitchen for pick up.
We are not responsible for any damage to the cake/decorations after pickup has been completed.
If you are providing your own transportation please make sure you can transport your cake safely; once a cake leaves our bakery customers accept all responsibility for the transport of the cake to its location. We cannot give refunds if there is a mishap during transportation.
PRICING
All prices are non-negotiable.
Harucake prices are subject to change at any time without notice.
There are many considerations we look at when quoting a price for your custom cake. In addition to the cake size, we look at the level of detail (labor) required to produce the end result in addition to the amount of time required to make your cake. If the cake is minimal in detail the price typically remains at the base price. However, if there are intricate details and numerous flowers or other custom details the price will more than likely be higher. Please contact us for tiered cake pricing.
PHOTO EDIBLE IMAGES
Yes we are able to make photo edible images on your cake for an additional price, starting at $15+. **PLEASE NOTE: Photographs or logos are printed images on edible sugar paper using edible ink from an ink jet printer. Images will be printed “AS IS” from the .jpeg file(s) provided by the customer. We do not have a library of graphics for customers to choose from. We are not graphic designers and do not have the computer programs/capability to change colors, writing fonts, objects, etc. on the provided .jpeg file. Colors may vary from the original picture(s) when printed from ink jet printer.
FLAVORS
Our flavors changes seasonal.
STORAGE AND CONSUMPTION
Harucake takes pride on baking our cakes fresh so we know exactly what goes into them and with no additives or preservatives. We are therefore unable to make a warranty as to the length of time for which the cakes will remain fit for consumption. We do however recommend our cakes are best eaten within 24 hours from pick up but they can be chilled for up to 2-3 days. All cakes need to be stored in the refrigerator until served.
ALLERGY DISCLAIMER
Please be aware that all ingredients are processed on the same equipment (eggs, soy, wheat, dairy).
Although we have strict processes in place to prevent cross-contact there is still a slight risk of the presence of any allergen.
DESIGN VARIATIONS
Although we make every attempt to provide an exact design and to match colors, custom cakes are a work of art. It may not be possible to match an exact shade of a color, but we will come as close as possible. The final product may be subject to slight variations. Also be aware the exposure to light can cause colors to change. We do not offer discounts or refunds if the exact shade of a color is not achieved or if a variation occurs due to lighting. In the event that a major variation needs to be made Harucake will communicate this to the customer and seek re-design approval.
CARE AND HANDLING
We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after pick-up. The client is responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake. If you or your representative elects to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves the possession of Harucake.
In the case of fresh flower usage on the cake, the responsibility of the flower safety and safe food practices will rest with the florist and not with Harucake. We are not responsible for any damage to the cake caused by the placement of flowers by another party or other items on the cake.
REFUND POLICY
Harucake will not offer refunds or exchanges for custom products that meet our quality standards once a cake has been picked up and “Accepted” by you or another designated party. Additionally, under no circumstances will Harucake provide a refund in excess of the cost of the order. All products are the responsibility of the customer once it leaves our possession. Refund requests due to decorating style, color shade or general decoration design will not be honored or considered.
PHOTOGRAPHS AND MARKETING
We respect the privacy of all our clients. We will not disclose the identity of clients (photographs of people, last names, event details, contract details) without permission. We do however, reserve the right to photograph baked goods and use those photos on our website, social media, or marketing materials. We also reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.
