Refund Policy
At Harucake, our cakes and desserts are made to order and are perishable. For that reason, all sales are generally final.
By placing an order with Harucake, you acknowledge and agree to the policy below.
All Sales Final
Harucake does not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for cakes, desserts, or other custom or perishable items once an order has been confirmed, prepared, picked up, delivered, or otherwise received.
Once a product leaves our possession or is accepted by you or your designated representative, it becomes your responsibility.
Cancellations
Cancellation requests must be made in writing.
If a cancellation request is received at least 14 days before the scheduled pickup date, Harucake may issue store credit only, at its discretion. No cash refunds, card refunds, or original-payment reversals will be provided for approved cancellations.
Cancellation requests made fewer than 14 days before pickup are generally not eligible for refund or store credit.
Order Changes and Modifications
We do not accept modifications once an order has been placed or confirmed. This includes, but is not limited to, design changes, flavor changes, pickup date changes, pickup time changes, and other order detail revisions.
Please review all order details carefully before payment and final confirmation.
Refund Requests After Pickup or Delivery
Harucake is not responsible for damage, deterioration, or loss that occurs after an order has been picked up, delivered, or released to a third party acting on your behalf.
This includes damage caused by transportation, handling, setup, storage, weather, heat exposure, or other conditions outside our control.
We do not provide refunds for transportation mishaps or damage that occurs after the cake leaves our care.
Third-Party Pickup
If a third party picks up or receives the order on your behalf, the same policy applies as if you had personally received the order. Harucake is not liable for damage or loss caused by third-party handling, transportation, or negligence after release of the order.
Design Variations
Our cakes are handcrafted, and slight variations in color, decoration, shape, texture, proportion, floral placement, lettering, and finishing details may occur.
We make every reasonable effort to reflect the requested design as closely as possible, but exact replication is not guaranteed. Reference images are used for inspiration only.
Refund requests based on decoration style, color shade, or minor design variation will not be accepted.
Storage and Product Care
All cakes must be stored in the refrigerator until serving. For best quality, we recommend enjoying the cake on the day of pickup. Cakes may generally be chilled for up to 2 to 3 days, but freshness, texture, and appearance may decline over time.
Cake slices should be stored in airtight containers and consumed promptly.
We also recommend limiting unrefrigerated time as much as possible. In general, cakes should not remain unrefrigerated for extended periods, especially during warm weather.
Transportation Responsibility
If you are providing your own transportation, please make sure the cake is transported safely. Cakes should be placed on a flat surface and kept cool during transport. Harucake is not responsible for damage caused during customer transport.
Allergy Disclaimer
All products are prepared in a kitchen that processes common allergens, including but not limited to eggs, dairy, soy, wheat, and nuts. Although we take reasonable precautions to reduce cross-contact, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from allergens.
Refunds will not be issued based on allergen exposure risk that has already been disclosed in this policy.
Maximum Refund Limit
In any circumstance where Harucake chooses, in its sole discretion, to offer a refund, store credit, or other resolution, the amount will not exceed the original purchase price paid for the affected order.
Policy Updates
Harucake reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. The most current version will be posted on this website.
